If you would like to receive email information about PureFitness you will need to opt out by informing my by this consent form as soon as possible. Privacy Policy is of PureFitness whose registered office is at The White House, Flamstead Way, Ashley Green, Chesham, Bucks. HP5 3PH.

PureFitness is committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of clients, and would never sell, rent, trade or share personal data with other companies and businesses for marketing or other purposes. This Privacy Policy provides detailed information on when and why I collect your personal information, how I use it, the limited conditions under which I may disclose it to others and how I keep it secure. I prioritise in keeping your personal data safe, which is why I am emailing you about my privacy policy, keeping inline with the new guidelines.

This privacy notice explains how PureFitness may use any personal information I collect about you.

How I use your data; I use data in relation to your health, to ensure I can create training plans that fully support what you need and will ensure that we achieve the best results for you. Furthermore, I prefer to keep a record of your contact details, so that should I need to contact you, in relation to our training- I can.

What personal data I collect and why; The primary legal basis that I intend to use your data is for the performance of our contract with you and in the form of a consultation, where it is necessary for me to know what health implications if any you have and where professionally I am qualified and insured to train you. I use this data to help me formulate your training plans accurately. I also keep this data to refer to, so that I can remain fully up to date with your health and ensure that I plan for the correct client and have your history to refer to.

How I protect your data and privacy; all data is kept within an encrypted document on my work laptop which is also password protected. Data which is collected in hard copy, is kept in a secure locked cabinet in my office. The data I keep in hard copy is a PAR-Q form. This is a generic document, which does not have any differentiating details about your personal health. This document is one I have to collect as a health practitioner and will destroy only with your direction should our training cease. The information that I collect about you is essential for me to be able to carry out the services that you require effectively. When in the gym the laptop is always placed in a locker with a padlock; the gym also has CCTV in operation.

If you explicitly agree, or are an engaged client of PureFitness, I may email you newsletters and information about relevant business-related areas which I think you need to be aware of or may be interested in.

Where third parties are involved in processing your data; Trainerize.com. I have a contract in place with this company which meets the GDPR guidelines set from 25th May 2018. They are subject to a duty of confidence in processing your data and will act in accordance with our written instructions.

I reserve the right to retain data for longer where I believe it’s in my legitimate interests to do so: you may take a small break from training to go on holiday, injury, illness, pregnancy. In any case, I’ll not keep your personal data for longer than 6 years after our relationship has ended. You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any point when we are not training.

I’ll comply with this request, subject to the restrictions of our regulatory obligations and legitimate interests as noted above. You have the right to request a copy of the information that I hold about you. If you would like a copy of some, or all, of your personal information, please email or write to me using the contact details noted below.

Please ask me to correct or remove any information that you think is incorrect.

Marketing

I would like to send you information about PureFitness services which may be of interest to you. If you have agreed to receive marketing information, you may opt out at a later date. You have a right at any time to stop me from contacting you for marketing. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please speak to me, contact us by post or email me.  My website may contain links to other websites. This privacy policy only applies to my website so when you link to other websites you should read their own privacy policies.

Security

PureFitness takes information security very seriously and uses reasonable administrative, technical and managerial measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access.

You are responsible for maintaining your confidentiality by restricting access to your computer or mobile device through which you access PureFitness. Users of public or shared computers or unprotected mobile devices should log out at the completion of each visit to the Site.

Notices and Revisions

Your use of PureFitness and any disputes arising from it, is subject to this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy at any time. Non-material changes and clarifications will take effect immediately, and material changes will take effect within 30 days of their posting on this site. If we make changes, we will post them and will indicate at the top of this page the policy's new effective date. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by email, or through notice on our home page. We encourage you to refer to this policy on an ongoing basis so that you understand our current privacy policy.
