This privacy notice explains how PureFitness may use any personal information I collect about you.
How I use your data; I use data in relation to your health, to ensure I can create training plans that fully support what you need and will ensure that we achieve the best results for you. Furthermore, I prefer to keep a record of your contact details, so that should I need to contact you, in relation to our training- I can.
What personal data I collect and why; The primary legal basis that I intend to use your data is for the performance of our contract with you and in the form of a consultation, where it is necessary for me to know what health implications if any you have and where professionally I am qualified and insured to train you. I use this data to help me formulate your training plans accurately. I also keep this data to refer to, so that I can remain fully up to date with your health and ensure that I plan for the correct client and have your history to refer to.
How I protect your data and privacy; all data is kept within an encrypted document on my work laptop which is also password protected. Data which is collected in hard copy, is kept in a secure locked cabinet in my office. The data I keep in hard copy is a PAR-Q form. This is a generic document, which does not have any differentiating details about your personal health. This document is one I have to collect as a health practitioner and will destroy only with your direction should our training cease. The information that I collect about you is essential for me to be able to carry out the services that you require effectively. When in the gym the laptop is always placed in a locker with a padlock; the gym also has CCTV in operation.
If you explicitly agree, or are an engaged client of PureFitness, I may email you newsletters and information about relevant business-related areas which I think you need to be aware of or may be interested in.

In any case, I’ll not keep your personal data for longer than 6 years after our relationship has ended. You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any point when we are not training.
